Meet Your Hosts!

Ian, Bryan and Kim!

Ian McCartor has hosted numerous inspirational and contemplative retreats around the world for songwriters, artists and philosophers. His most frequented gathering locations are a 16th century castle in the South of France, and an artisan villa perched on a hillside in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.

When not hosting gatherings, Ian writes songs inspired by the wisdom of those who have suffered loss, with the hope of inspiring others to live life to the fullest.

Having worked for years as a hospice nurse and grief counsellor, he incorporates songwriting as a way to help people heal through loss and find meaning beyond their tragedies. He also sits bedside with those who are in their final days, offering to be a witness as they prepare for their transition with unspoken words.

He applies these insights as a creative philosophy coach and professional visual artist.

Bryan Reynolds is a songwriter and producer who also releases music under the name Seven Pound Thesaurus. you may've heard his music if you had been near his mother that one day she figured out how to use Sound Cloud.

Ultimately Bryan is excited by what happens when people come together, share life and aim to make something beautiful. In that aim he had a zany idea to create a space for that to happen which became the brain baby for this retreat.
